The City Bureau of Recreation’s Biz Kid$ program provides interactive, applied business and entrepreneurial education to city youth ages 10-18. Biz Kid$ is a free week-long camp that teaches kids ages 10-18 how to start their own business. Biz Kid$ camp lays the foundation of entrepreneurial know-how and includes meals, prizes and business supplies. Held four times a year, each camp serves about 20-25 students.

Rochester Young Professionals (RYP) is a not-for-profit organization whose primary mission is to support and promote local business and provide young professionals with a platform to expand their social and professional networks, collaborate with their peers and participate in career and community-building activities. RYP is the largest of the young professional organizations in Rochester, with over 5,000 members. 2016 will be our third annual gala. In 2015, the RYP Gala Event raised over $6,000 for Teen Empowerment. The event has previously been featured in the Channel 8 News, Democrat and Chroni-cle, Huge City, Freetime, City Newspaper, Rochester Business Journal and 585 Magazine.
